    • Version 4.5.30 now available

CSLA 4 version 4.5.30 is now available via nuget and the download page . This version includes a number of bug fixes and some new features and is a recommended upgrade from 4.5.20. Perhaps the biggest new feature is the ability to create classes that are invoked by the server-side data portal to simplify...

    • Version 4.5.24 RC now on nuget

CSLA 4 version 4.5.23 release candidate is now available via nuget. This release includes minor bug fixes, and should be the last release before 4.5.30. Please test this release ASAP, as I expect to do the final release in the next few days.

    • CSLA 4 version 4.5.23 beta release

CSLA 4 version 4.5.23 beta is now available via nuget. This release is mostly some bug fixes and stabilization, with one specialized enhancement to the rules engine. This is hopefully the last beta release prior to the full 4.5.30 release, so please help us test to make sure everything works as expected...

    • Version 4.5.22 beta release online

A beta version of CSLA 4.5 (version 4.5.22) is now available via nuget. I am following the approach taken by an increasing number of Microsoft open source projects (like Entity Framework) and only doing pre-releases via nuget. That is much simpler for me, and allows for a more iterative release process...

    • Building CSLA .NET 4.5.20

I can't seem to find any requirements to build CSLA .NET 4.5.20. I know there are pre-compiled binaries available but I would also like to compile them myself. From what I can tell Visual Studio 2012 is required, with .NET 4.5 or .NET 40 along with the async/await package that is available for VS...

I have put the 4.5.13 beta version online in nuget and via the download page at www.cslanet.com This is primarily a bug fix release, and is hopefully the last release before the final 4.5.20 release. I hope to do the final release at the end of this week.

    • Rules called multiple times after 4.5 upgrade

Hi! Our Silverlight 5 application's BOL has a couple of business objects with pretty deep hierarchy. Such as ProductEdit => SectionList => SectionEdit => FieldList => StepList => StepEdit =>SecuritySettingsList=>etc. Some validation rules defined on child level but other like...
