Will CSLA.NET 2.0 and its ProjectTracker sample work on the VB.NET 2005 Express & Visual Web Developer 2005 Express?

Yes.  Compile the Library in VB Express, and reference it in Visual Web Developer.

Just found out that VB.NET 2005 Express doesn't support Solution Folders. SharpDevelop worked better!

I built the csla.dll by opening the cslavb.sln solution and compiling it in vb express.

But is there anymore comprehensive instructions on how to do the rest with the express version of the tools?

I have similar requirements, but I want to use VS 2008 Express / Visual Web Developer 2008 and the matching version of CSLA .NET.

Is it possible to compile the framework and run the sample project using VS 2008 Express and Visual Web Developer 2008?

No, you can't build all of CSLA using Express - it doesn't support all the project types (to my knowledge anyway).
