Hi

Two questions

Firstly, I need to use the basic icons in win applications where do I get them from, without paying a fortune.

Secondly, how do I incorporate menus relating to a child form into the parent mdi form ?

I'm programming in VB.NET

Thanks in advance

Ellie

Not sure what you call a fortune but for $350 you can look at www.iconexperience.com.  They have a ton and they are of excellent quality.

You can get stock icons from VS's folder here:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\VS2005ImageLibrary

Thanks for this - I didn't know it existed!

Are there any restrictions on using these, or is it simply part of VS and hence available to developers?

It sounds like you want more than this but the system icons, ie mostly the icons you can use in a MessageBox are directly available in System.Drawing.SystemIcons.
